Azienda Agricola Le
Caldane is located in a morainic amphitheater, between the hills
of Colà and the shore of lake Garda. The 89 acre estate (including
the vineyards) lies in the domain which is registered as D.O.C.
(Dominazione Origine Controllata) for Bardolino wine.
The name, Caldane, is derived from an archaic word used to denote the presence of a hot spring. At the nearby spa, which was established a few years ago, water gushes with a temperature of 35oC. Many people swear by the healing powers of the thermal mineral baths. |

Our vineyards surround the
winery, enabling us to visit
the vineyards on a daily basis. We believe that great wines are
grown, not made.
Our philosophy of vineyard management has long been to grow the best grapes we possibly can and then we proceed to craft the wine grapes into outstanding bottles of Bardolino, Cabernet-Sauvignon, etc. Our quality wines are sold directly at the farm and are appreciated by Italian and foreign clients alike. |
